I bought the pattern and fabric at a Joanne’s somewhere near the Cape a few years ago on a girl’s trip,.

The fabric is silky but much more solid that the other light-weight fabrics that I have in my stash. It modestly retains warmth in cold weather but lithe and breathable enough for spring and summer.
The gathering near the yoke is very flattering on any bust size.

I was, at first, a bit hesitant working with collars. I used to get frustrated when they didn’t fall into place but this pattern was a breeze. I even was able to use a bias tape with a complimentary color that I stole from my mom.
